this gengar has been influenced by the beautiful sun-kissed beaches and laid-back vibes of pacifierra bay. it has taken on the hues of its beautiful sunset and even shaped his tongue to resemble surfboard. gengar can especially be found hiding in the shadows created by the sunset on the beach, hiding beneath the sand or surfboards, waiting to scare unsuspecting pokémon and trainers.

design breakdown

this gengar is inspired by the beautiful sunsets that you can see along the beachy coasts of california. it takes on the purple to coral hue of the sunset, with orange eyes to represent the sun, and then has a surfboard like tongue inspired by the many surfers in the waters. the shiny variant takes on a different coloration, this time reflecting sunrise, going from orangy-yellows to sky blue.
