why did i choose empathy and play as the focus of my capstone? Well...
toy design is my passion and what i enjoy
to raise awareness about topics i care about
i wanted products i could pursue long term

with my topics chosen, i went into researching each topic and developing a problem statement for each to lead the project and began sketching

while watching documentaries and researching, i tried to create as many thumbnail sketching as i could to flesh out as many details as i could. then i went through and chose the ones i felt strongly connected to and went to procreate to further strengthen the ideas and concepts
after doing another round of refinements with the aid of some rough prototypes, my topics and design were chosen. then, it was onto full prototyping and further development
